The Elderwilde experience
Learn the wild. Earn your place.
An open-world survival game built around preparation, creature bonds, and a wilderness that responds to your presence. Currently in development.
Survival is a relationship
What keeps you alive
can draw the wild closer.
Find water. Gather supplies. Make a fire before the weather turns. The ordinary needs of survival are the beginning of Elderwilde’s experience.
The current design connects those needs to the world around you. Noise, light, and the scent of stored food can attract attention. Learning when to build, when to travel, and when to stay quiet matters alongside better equipment.
Prepare, then venture out.
Hunger, thirst, temperature, fatigue, and carried weight shape an expedition. Food, clothing, tools, and shelter all have a place in your preparations.
Read a living wilderness.
Elderwilde is designed around creatures that feed, move, and hold territory. Pay attention to tracks, calls, weather, and the movement of herds; observation is a survival tool.
Bring something home.
Gathering feeds crafting. Crafted tools support exploration. What you return with can become supplies, equipment, or an improvement to the place you live.
Turn caution into trust.
Taming and riding are part of Elderwilde’s core vision. Learn about a creature before approaching it, earn its trust, and develop a bond that extends beyond the first tame.
Choose how you meet danger.
Weapons and equipment are part of preparation, but power has consequences. A quiet bow and a loud firearm make very different announcements to the world around you.
A rhythm of risk and return
Camp. Journey. Come back changed.
Prepare at home, set out with a purpose, and adapt when the wilderness complicates the plan. Bring your discoveries back into your crafting, building, and creature care.
